Another very common method is gift certificates. Each company will offer gift certificates in their own chosen stores. The gift certificates tend to be for very commercial and popular stores which appeal to the majority of people, like Amazon, Topshop and Topman. If your chosen company is offering gift certificates then make sure that they are from stores where you currently buy things from or would like to buy from. These gift vouchers will not usually expire if you decide not to use them immediately. If you want to build them up to buy something more expensive then you should be able to get one large gift voucher. This means that you do not have to worry about your certificates going to waste and have to make a hasty purchase. Also, a lot of these vouchers are sent by email so you will receive them relatively quick.
The final most common method is offering a physical reward. You are rewarded on a point’s basis for each survey you complete and you must accumulate a specific amount of points for each product which is offered. So you effectively buy the items in store from the points you earn. This is quite limited in terms of what you can get, so find out what items there are in store.
These are the main payment options with the majority of survey companies, although some offer sweepstakes and other kinds of prize draw competitions. Make sure you remember to check exactly what a company offers before you decide to commit with them.
